The site has a great location in the centre of Lancaster.
This is a former, disused waterways yard on the Lancaster canal, in a Conservation Area. There are two listed buildings on the site, a workshop complex and the Old Packet Boat House, both of which are being retained and sympathetically converted for modern use. PRP Architects have developed a design with the British Waterways Conservation Team that brings the listed buildings back into use. In addition to the listed buildings seven new build houses will be created, designed with a mix of traditional materials and contemporary detailing. This ensures that the new buildings compliment the retained listed buildings.
H2O have been granted planning approval for 14 family dwellings.
